Video ads for Japanese audiences

Connect Dola’s features to everyday situations through Japanese-language video ads.

The live-action work called for conversational performances, clear app demonstrations, and short scenes supported by Japanese captions and visual cues.

We led the work from creative concept through production and launch. The scope included scripting, live-action direction, editing, and Japanese on-screen text.

The later AI series also involved character and scene design, AI-generated footage, and the integration of Dola screen recordings.

One ad starts with a casual selfie and shows how the app turns it into résumé photos. Another follows two performers choosing image styles together.

The five-video AI series uses scripted stories about work, study, and home life. Generated character scenes are combined with Dola screen recordings and documents created in the app.

The résumé-photo ad pairs a phone-camera demonstration with conversational Japanese captions, including “パジャマでも” — “even in pajamas.”

The scene brings the feature into an everyday setting, with the demonstration carrying the explanation.

The work included live-action video ads and a five-video AI series with Japanese scripts.

Finished videos combined performances or AI-generated character scenes with app demonstrations, Japanese on-screen text, and editing for vertical viewing.
